Are you an ADHD leader seeking more understanding about ADHD and how it may show up in your working relationships? Are you also looking for language to describe your experiences empowering you to create stronger working relationships?
Explore your ADHD without the neurotypical masks.
In this workshop, you will relate the concepts of inhibition, self-control, executive functions, and emotional dysregulation back to your personal experience of ADHD. Understanding the why behind your ADHD experience can lead to accepting and owning how your brain works, reframing what’s normal for you and deepening your capacity for authentic leadership.
You will also be asked to bring a recent and relevant challenge related to ADHD and persistence. You will look at this challenge from different perspectives as you layer on concepts, allowing you to see where the science and your personal struggle intersect. You will have a good amount of group discussion that will keep you engaged and allow you to see how much you have in common with everyone as well as share tips and experiences.
By the end of the workshop, you will have a deeper understanding of the science behind ADHD, an awareness of how ADHD can propel and challenge your leadership, language to describe what you’re going through and more clearly communicate your needs, a community of like-minded peers, and resources to explore how to make your role and your teams more neuro-inclusive.
